I came across this article on the KVUE website about how Texas is giving Vets a $30 million homebuyer initiative. Its good to see the government helping out our vets more after they come home cause a know a few who struggled after returning.

I picked this article cause I think we need to give our vets more benefits than we do, they risk their lives in order to defend us this LEAST we could do is give them a bit more support.

- I've lived in Texas my whole 20 years of life. I'm fairly liberal in the way I see things as I think you should be able to live your life how you want without the Government telling you what to do. Except for in the obvious stuff. Don't kill, its not cool. I also think that religion needs to stay way out of politics. I'm pretty religious but I don't think it has any business in our Government. I'm currently taking Texas Government for two reasons, the more notable one is that I have to. But I also need it. I live here, I need to know more about whats going on cause whether I like it or not Government controls me. It controls what kind of job I can get, who I can marry, and all kinds of stuff. Might as well know about it.
